If you are a novice online and have little to no programming experience, Thesis makes it really easy to get started.  Chances are if your reading this you’ve graduated past the free themes and you are using a premium theme.  There are really nice looking themes for sure, but they have optimization limitations.

Let’s imagine you want to customize the look and feel of your website, add and/or remove things, I can tell you from firsthand experience, sometimes it’s not an easy task, because you have to start modifying HTML code.  To compound this problem, every few months the theme is updated and therein lies the problem.  Now you have two choices, stick with your old version of the theme, or take the plunge and update your changes back into the new version of the theme.
